Foster collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving among your team members through a one day hands-on, multi-stage challenge at SMU’s Deason Innovation Gym (DIG).Participants are divided into a cross-functional team and tasked with designing and building a functional prototype that addresses a real-world challenge. Facilitated by the DIG’s Director this workshop emphasizes collaboration, creative problem solving, and hands-on learning with DIG’s state-of-the-art makerspace tools.

• The ideal workshop size is 4–15 participants. For groups of 3 or fewer, an individualized coaching-style format is provided rather than a workshop format.

• Participants who complete 2 full days or more of professional development programming will receive an SMU certificate and digital badge.

• SMU credentials are highly valued by professionals and employers for their quality and prestige.

• All professional development programs and certificates are non-credit bearing and may not be applied toward credit-bearing programs.
